RESOLUTION NO._5189 __
DISTRICT SL-5 SANITARY SEWER LATERAL
IMJMPROVEMENT SL5
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its inten-
tion to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter;
SL-5 The laying underground of 6" Terra Cotta Sewer
Laterals as a separate improvement, from the exist-
ing Sanitary Sewer to the line of approximately
each fifty (50) feet of adjacent property.
In the Alley between Meridian Avenue and Jefferson
Avenue on both sides from the North line of Seventh
Street to the South line of Eleventh Street.
As said Streets, Avenues and Alley are shown on
a Plat recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 81 of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and as said
Avenues are designated by Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement with
an estimate of the cost, including an estimate of the cost of the
expenses of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifica-
tions and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and
proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction,
legal services, abstracts, etc . , and any other expenses necessary
and proper in conducting the proceedings herein provided for; and
the estimated amount to be assessed against the abutting property for
each sewer lateral.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sanitary Sewer Lateral Improvement SL-b, and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof
shall be designated as District SL-5.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 1st DAY OF May A.D.1935.
