Resolution 3191 RESOLUTION NO. 3191
WHEREAS the present United States Poet Office facili-
ties in the City of Miami Beach are wholly inadequate to
our needs, and
WHEREAS the Miami Beach Chamber of Com,-ieroe is at
present collaborating with the Honorable J. Mark Wilcox,
Representative from the State of Florida, in an effort to
promote the construction of a United States Post Office
building in our City oommenaugate with the almost unprece-
dented growth and development now taking place in Miami
Beach,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, TLIORIDA, in regular meeting
assembled that we hereby heartily endorse the said efforts ,
of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce and our Representative,
the Honorable J. Mark °riloox and urge upon the proper Fedseral
authorities the serious immediate need of this structure and
resultant enlarged service to our citizens which same would
provide, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that certified copies of this
Resolution be forwarded immediately to the Honorable J. Mark
Wilcox at Washington, D. C.
