RESOLUTION NO. 3218
WHEREAS, it is now determined by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, to consider the amending,
and/or repealing of the regulations, restrictions and/or
boundaries, as provided in Ordinance No. 289, commonly known
as the Zoning Ordinance of Miami Beach, Florida, as herein-
after set forth, to-wit:
That Section 7 of Ordinance No. 289 be amended by
adding thereto after item (4) , the following:
(5) Night Clubs, only upon approval and
permit by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach.
That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 289, as amended,
be amended by adding thereto after the definition
of"Clubs, private" , the following item:
"Clubs, night" . The term "night club" shall per-
tain to and include restaurants, dining rooms or
other similar establishments where floor show or
other form of lawful entertainment is provided for
guests after 11:00 o'clock P. M.
That Section 5 of Ordinance No. 289, as amended, be
amended by adding thereto immediately following
Item " (5) Private Clubs" , the words "Only upon ap-
proval and permit by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach. "
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a public hearing
be called for the 3rd day of July, A. D. , 1935, at 9:00 o' clock
A. M. , in the Council Chambers at the City Hall, Miami Beach,
Florida, for the purpose as above set forth, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that notice of the time , place
and object of such hearing be published as is provided by
said Ordinance No. 289.
