A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY ENGINEER TO MAKE APPLICA..
TION TO THE WAR DEPARTMENT OF THE
UNITED STATES FOR PERMISSION TO
CONSTRUCT GROYNES AND BULKHEADS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That M.N.Lipp, City Engineer for said City, be and he
is hereby directed and authorized to make application to the
War Department of the United States for a permit to construct
groynes and bulkheads along the Atlantic Ocean from a point
near the Southerly line of 18th Street produced Easterly to
the existing bulkhead near 22nd Street, in the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, and to make such application in the name of
said City or in his own name as representative of said City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 19th DAY OF July
A.D. 1935.
