RESOLUTION NO. 3312
DISTRICT H-140 HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT
H-140
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its inten.
tion to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-140 THE ALLEY BETWEEN MERIDIAN AVENUE AND EUCLID AVENUE,
from Fourth Street to Fifth Street, to be paved
and where heretofore paved to be repaved to a width
of twenty (20) feet with a bituminous wearing sur-
face on an eight (8) inch rock base.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets, man»
holes and catch basins.
As said Alley Avenues and Street are shown on plate
recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 81, Plat Book 9, Page
10 and Plat Book 21, Page 26 of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida, and as said Avenues are
named and designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of preliminary
and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the work, the
preparation of flans and specifications and estimates, the printing
and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds,
interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any
other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and
work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against
each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-140, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated
as District H.140.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 4th DAY OF September A.D.1935,
