DISTRICT H..144 HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H«144 30TH STREET FROM THE EAST LINE OF COLLINS AVENUE TO
A POINT ONE HUNDRED FORTY FEET (140') EAST OF SAID
EAST LINE OF COLLINS AVENUE, to be paved, and where
heretofore paved to be repaved to a width of thirty.
nine (39) feet with a bituminous wearing surface on
a ten (10) inch rock base.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets, manholes
and catch basins and improved on both sides with a
concrete curb and gutter.
As said Street, Avenue and Drive are shown on a Plat
recorded in Plat Book 5, Pages 7 and 8 of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida, and as said street is
names and designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, iriclud`ing; as estimate of the cost of preliminary
and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the work, the
preparation of bonds, interest during construction, legal services,
abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conduct..
ing the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount
to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Highway Improvement H-144, and the property against which assess•
menta therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated as
bistrict H.144.
