RESOLUTION NO. 3465
SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-239

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
SR-239 The laying underground of an 8" Terra Cotta
Sanitary Sewer and necessary manholes and appur-
tenances.
At or near the centerline of the alley lying
between Lenox Avenue and Michigan Avenue from
a point at or near the Southerly line of Lot
1, Block 95, Ocean Beach Addition No. 3,
produced Westerly, to a point at or near the
Southerly line of Lot 5, said Block 95, pro-
duced Westerly.
Together with a 6" Terra Cotta sewer lateral
from the main sewer to the line of approximately
each fifty (50) feet of abutting property as
a part of the main improvement.
As said Avenues, Alley, Lots, Block and Addition
are shown on a Plat recorded in Plat Book 2, Page
81 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
and as said Lenox Avenue and Michigan Avenue are
named and designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, Plans and Specifications of said improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the expense
of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence
of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates,
the printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation
of bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts,
proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to
he assessed against each front foot of adjacent property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-239, and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof
shall be designated as District SR-239.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 25th DAY OF March, A.D 1936.
