A RESOLUTION WAIVING OBJECTIONS TO AND
GIVING CONSENT AND APPROVAL OF THE PROPOSED
CONSTRUCTION OF A BRIDGE AND THE REMOVAL
OF A PRESENT BRIDGE BY THE SUNSET ISLANDS
COMPANY.
WHEREAS, the Sunset Islands Company propose to make application to
the War Department for perpission to construct a bridge connecting Island
No. 1 and Island No, 2 of Qunset Islands, simultaneously removing the
present existing bridge connecting Island No. 2 and Island Nos. 3 of Sun-
set Islands, all within the municipal limits of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, and as shown upon two drawings marked Sheet 1 of 2 and Sheet 2
of 2 and designated:
"SKETCH TO ACCOMPANY PERMIT APPLICATION
FOR CONNECTING BRIDGE SUNSET ISLANDS
ISLANDS 1 to 2 MIAMI BEACH FLORIDA
FOR THE SUNSET ISLANDS CO.

and,
WHEREAS, said preliminary plans have been presented to and con-
sidered by the City Council and
WHEREAS, the construction of said bridge between Island No. 1 and
Island No. 2 by the Sunset Islands Company and the proposed simultaneous
removal of the present existing bridge between Island No. 2 and Island
No. 3 will not interfere with any plans for work which the City Council
has in view,
NOW, THEREFORE,, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, in legal meeting assembled that the said City
Council does hereby waive all objections to the said proposed construc-
tion of a new bridge and removal of the present bridge as above described
and the said City Council does hereby further give its Consent and ap-
proval to said construction of a bridge and removal of the present bridge
as above described, subject however to approval of finished plans and
specifications by the City Building Inspector, when same are completed
and prior to said construction and removal.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE SAID CITY COUNCIL that Resolution No.
3460 as passed and adopted by them on March 18th, 1936, be and the same
is hereby rescinded.
