RESOLUTION NO. 3543
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, upon its own initiative will consider the amending,
supplementing, changing, modifying and/or repealing of the
regulations, restrictions, and/or boundaries as provided in
Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance
of Miami Beach, Florida, as hereinafter set forth, to-wit:
That the Use Regulation of the following described
property, to-wit:
Those certain tracts or narrow strips of land shown
and designated on two plats recorded in Plat Book 5
at pages 7 and 8, respectively, of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida, and more particularly des-
cribed as follows:
That certain tract bounded on the east by the westerly
line of Collins Avenue, on the west by the easterly
line of a body of water designated on said plat as
"Lake" (now Lake Pancoast) , on the north by the south
line of 2nd Street (now 26th Street) and on the south
by the north line of Hotel Place (now 24th Street) ,
excepting that portion shown and designated as 1st
Street (now 25th Street) ;
Also that certain tract bounded on the north by the
south line of 2nd Street (now 26th Street) and the
south line of 3rd Street (now 27th Street) , on the
east by Indian Creek Drive and Collins Avenue, and on
the south and west by the northerly and easterly lines
of said Lake (now Lake Pancoast) and Indian Creek, res-
pectively;
Also those certain tracts bounded on the east by the
westerly line of Indian Creek Drive , on the west by the
easterly line of Indian Creek on the south by the
northerly line of 3rd Street (now 27th Street) , the
northern terminus of said tracts being the intersection
of the westerly line of Indian Creek Drive and the
easterly line of Indian Creek, said certain tracts being
divided by 4th Street, 5th Street, 6th Street, 7th Street,
8th Street, 9th Street 10th Street, 11th Street, 12th.
Street, 13th Street, 14th Street, 15th Street, 16th Street,
17th Street, 18th Street and 19th Street (now 28th Street,
29th Street, 30th Street, 31st Street, 32nd Street, 33rd
Street, 34th Street, 35th Street, 36th Street, 37th Street,
38th Street, 39th Street, 40th Street 41st Street, 42nd
Street, and 43rd Street, respectively) ,
be amended so as to change said property from its present
use regulation to what is known as "RD" Single Family
District classification, as said use regulation is des-
cribed in Ordinance No. 289, as amended.
NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED, that a public hearing
be called for the 10th day of June , A. D. , 1936, at 10:00
o'clock A. M. in the Council Chambers at the City Hall, Miami
Beach, Florida, for the purpose as above set forth,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that notice of the time, place and
object of such hearing be published as is provided by said
Ordinance No. 289.
