BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Section 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-156 14th Street from Alton Road to Michigan Avenue, to
be paved, and where heretofore paved to be repaved
to a width of eighteen (18) feet with a bituminous
wearing surface on a seven (7) inch rock base,
together with necessary drainage, manholes and catch basins.
As said Street, Road and Avenue are shown on a Plat
recorded in Plat Book 2, at Page 81, of the Public
recrods of Dade County, Florida, and as said Avenue
is named and designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, the inspection and superintendence of the work,
the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates, the printing
and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds,
interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, proceedings
and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of adjacent property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H166, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be
designated as District H- 166.
