Resolution 3589 RESOLUTION NO. 3589
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, upon its own initiative will consider the amending,
supplementing, changing, modifying and/or repealing of the
regulations, restrictions, and/or boundaries as provided in
Ordinance No. 289 , commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of
Miami Beach, Florida, as hereinafter set forth, to-wit:
That Section 5 of Ordinance No. 289 , as amended,
be amended by eliminating therefrom the following:
"(9) Public or private schools. "
and substituting in lieu therefor, the following:
"(9) Public schools".
And that section 5-A of Ordinance No. 2S9 , as amended,
be amended by adding thereto after Item ( 18) , the fol-
lowing:
"(19) Private Schools, only upon approval and per,-
mit
er»mit by the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach. "
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED, that a public hearing
be called for the 5th day of August , A. D. , 1936, at 10:00
o' clock A. M. , in the Council Chambers at the City Hall, Miami
Beach, Florida, for the purpose as above set forth,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that notice of the time, place
and object of such hearing be published as is provided by said
Ordinance No. 259.
