RESOLUTION NO. 3618
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH ,
1 FLORIDA, that
WHEREAS, on account of sickness the City Assessor
of taxes could not complete the assessment roll of said City on
or before the first Monday in July, 1936 , and could not attend
the meeting to be held with the City Council of said City, act-
ing as a Board of Equalization on said date , and cannot attend
such a meeting on the first Monday in August , 1936; and
WHEREAS, he has transmitted his partially completed
assessment roll to theCity Clerk and has neglected to assess
the property of said City previous to the first Monday in July,
1936.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the said City
Council of the City of Miami Beach that the City Clerk be and
he is hereby directed to make and complete said assessment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the first Monday in
August, 1936 , be and is hereby appointed the day to hold the
meeting for the purpose of equalizing the assessments so made ,
and the said City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice there-
of in due form as required by law.
