A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AMENDING CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH RESOLUTION NO. 94-21259 CREATING AN
AUDIT COMMI'ITEE, PROVIDING THAT SAID AUDIT
COMMITTEE SHALL REVIEW, COMMENT UPON AND
MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS (WHERE APPROPRIATE)
CONCERNING ACTIVITIES OF THE CITY'S
INDEPENDENT AUDITOR AND OF THE CITY'S INTERNAL
AUDIT FUNCTIONS.
WHEREAS, in City of Miami Beach Resolution No. 94-21259, the City Commission
created an Audit Committee with the Committee to supervise activities of the City's independent
auditor in the planning and conducting of the annual City audit and other audits for the City of
Miami Beach; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable for the Audit Committee to likewise supervise the activities of
the City's internal audit. Paragraph 5 of City of Miami Beach Resolution No, 94-21259 is thus
hereby amended to read as follows:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that City of Miami Beach
Resolution No, 94-21259 creating an Audit Committee, paragraph 5 thereof is hereby amended to
read as follows:
