SUBJECT: 9T" STREET FITNESS AREA RIB r ON CUTTING CEREMONY
You are cordially invited to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony for the 9th Street fitness
area on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Lummus Park.
The exercise circuit east of the coral rock wall at Lummus Park (9th street and Ocean
Drive), locally known as muscle beach, will feature a complete outdoor gym in two iconic
installations, MyEquilibria's Leopard Tree and MyBeast. The functional structures
collectively feature over 30 workout components.
The first of its kind to be featured in a public park in the United States, the installation of
this high-end fitness equipment will redefine the workout experience, bring art and
functionality to the beach, and be fully accessible to visitors and residents alike.
