Resolution 73-14113 RESOLUTION NO. 73-14113
WHEREAS STAND-BY SERVICES , INC. responded successfully
and acceptably to Invitation to Bid #93-73, conditioned
upon a save harmless and indemnity agreement to provide all
necessary temporary personnel upon notice, or if unable to
provide sufficient temporary personnel, then and in the event
the City of Miami Beach secures additional needed temporary
help in the open market or otherwise, STAND-BY SERVICES, INC.
agrees to reimburse the City of Miami Beach for the additional
cost, if any, between the contracted rate and the actual rate
paid; and
WHEREAS an agreement has been prepared setting forth
the terms and conditions under which STAND-BY SERVICES , INC.
agrees to accept the liability for such additional cost, if any;
and
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
being familiar with the terms and conditions of said agreement,
and the said City Council having found that it is in the best
interests of the City of Miami Beach and its citizens;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the
Acting City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to execute
and deliver the said Agreement for and in the name of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida.
