WHEREAS, the Veterans of World War I Convention has
entered into an Agreement to lease the Miami Beach Convention
Hall on October 2, 1973 ; and
WHEREAS, the Veterans of World War I Convention
desires to employ the catering services of David Lynn, Inc. ,
to cater a banquet held by the said organization on October 2,
1973 ; and
WHEREAS, a letter has been received by the City of
Miami Beach from Oscar Markovich dated June 18, 1973, whereby
Oscar Markovich relinquishes the rights to cater this banquet
at the Convention Center on October 2, 1973, while continuing
to operate all other concession privileges and refreshment
stands during the Convention ; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of
Miami Beach, its residents and inhabitants, that the City enter
into an agreement with David Lynn, Inc . , to cater the banquet
of Veterans of World War I of the U.S .A. , Inc. , at the Conven-
tion Hall on October 2, 1973 ; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared and approved
as to form by the City Attorney, the terms of which the City
Council is familiar ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, the Agreement between David
Lynn, Inc . , and City of Miami Beach allowing David Lynn, Inc. , to
cater the banquet at the Convention Hall on. October 2, 1973, be
approved, and the approved officers are authorized and directed
to enter into the agreement on behalf of the City of Miami Beach.
