RESOLUTION NO. 73-14143
RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT WITH GREENLEAF/
TELESCA ENGINEERS-ARCHITECTS FOR ADDITIONAL
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES REQUIRED FOR THE MIAMI
BEACH MARINA
WHEREAS, in connection with the construction of
the breakwater and bulkheading for the proposed Miami Beach
Marina, it is necessary to retain appropriate architectural
and engineering services and,
WHEREAS, an appropriate Agreement with Greenleaf/
Telesca Engineers-Architects has been prepared and has been
approved as to form by the City Attorney, providing for the
said architectural and engineering services, all as set forth
in the proposed Agreement for a total fee of $47, 500. 00, pay-
able as set forth in said Agreement and,
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended to the
City Council that said Agreement be entered into and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
deems it to be in the best interest of the City and its resi-
dents to enter into the said Agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor
and the -City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to execute and deliver said Agreement for and in the
name of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, and that the financial
officers of the City be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to make the disbursements called for in accordance
with the provisions of said Agreement.
