A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 73-14125 CALLING A SPECIAL
ELECTION AT WHICH THERE SHALL BE SUBMITTED
TO THE ELECTORATE THE MATTER OF ISSUANCE OF
BONDS OF SAID CITY IN THE SUMS AND FOR THE
PURPOSES IN SAID RESOLUTION STATED.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that Sections 6 and 7 of Resolution
No. 73-14125 be and the same are hereby amendedby adding an
additional paragraph thereto to follow immediately after
Question No. 9, the additional question to be numbered and
to read as follows :
"QUESTION NO. 10
"Shall the City of Miami Beach issue negotiable
coupon bonds in the amount of $4, 000, 000 with
interest at a rate to be hereafter determined,
but not to exceed 7-1/2 per cent per annum for
the purpose of acquiring and developing for
parks, recreational and public works purposes,
the following described. lands :
Lots 10 and 11, Block 15, Island View Subdivi-
sion, Plat Book 6, Page 115, Public Records,
Dade County Florida, and Lots 34 through 40,
inc . , Block 15A, Island View Addition, Plat
Book 9, Page 144, Public Records, Dade County,
Florida. Said parcel of land is commonly
known as the Miami Beach Yacht Corporation
property and is located at 1928 Purdy Avenue?"
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that Resolution No. 73-14125 as amended
by this Resolution be and the same is hereby approved, ratified,
and confirmed.
