SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Rebuest for Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2018 -141 -ND, for
Professional Architectural and Engineering Services for Capital Renewal and Replacement
Projects
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2018 -141 -ND, which seeks to establish a pool of prequalified architectural and
engineering consultants for the renewal and replacement of the City's facilities and the systems within
those facilities.
The City will receive proposals pursuant to this RFQ on April 2, 2018. The responsive proposals will be
reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in the RFQ.
I am considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Lily Alvarez, Construction Manager, Property Management Department, City of Miami Beach
• Elizabeth Estevez, Parks and Capital Projects Manager, Parks and Recreation Department, City
of Miami Beach
• Laura Ferrer, Senior Mechanical Inspector, Building Department, City of Miami Beach
• Francisco Garcia, Construction Manager, Property Management Department, City of Miami
Beach
• Steven Williams, Principal Planner, Planning Department, City of Miami Beach
I am also considering the following individuals as alternates:
• Pilar Caurin, Construction Manager, Office of Capital Improvement Projects, City of Miami Beach
• Ricardo Guzman, Senior Planning, Planning Department, City of Miami Beach
• Valeria Mejia, ADA Coordinator, Property Management Department, City of Miami Beach
