A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
OF AGREEMENT WITH DADE COUNTY FOR
COLORING SIDEWALKS ON WEST AVENUE
WIDENING PROJECT.
WHEREAS , the City of Miami Beach and Metro-
politan Dade County have agreed to color the sidewalks,
curbs and gutters involved in the widening of West
Avenue at an estimated cost not to exceed $8 , 000 . 00 ,
to be shared equally, and
WHEREAS , it is to the best interests of
the City of Miami Beach that said agreement be effect-
uated as set forth in a proposed contract setting
forth the same;
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the
Mayor and the City Clerk be and they are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the said agreement
in the name of and on behalf of the said City, and
the disbursing officers of the City are hereby
authorized and directed to disburse the monies re-
quired by the terms of said agreement from funds of
the City available for such purpose .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of November ,
1973 .
