A RESOLUTION CALLING PUBLIC HEARING ON
RECOMMENDATION OF PLANNING BOARD THAT
SECTION 6-3 , PARAGRAPH B, OF ZONING
ORDINANCE NO. 1891 BE AMENDED BY ADDING
CHURCHES , SYNAGOGUES AND TEMPLES TO CERTAIN
PUD-1 AREA.
WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City of Miami
Beach, following a public hearing, has recommended to the
City Council their approval of a proposed amendment to the
City ' s Zoning Ordinance No . 1891, whereby Section 6-3,
Paragraph B, be amended by adding Churches , Synagogues and
Temples in the PUD-1 area bounded by 17th Street on the
South, Meridian Avenue on the east, Dade Boulevard on the
north, and Alton Road on the west, and
WHEREAS , said action of the Planning Board has been
duly transmitted to the City Council pursuant to Section 16
of said Zoning Ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a Public
Hearing for the consideration of said proposed amendment to
said Zoning Ordinance is hereby called to be held before the
City Council to be held in the Cypress Room of the
Convention Hall South, 1700 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach,
on the 6th day of February, 1974 , beginning at the hour of
2 : 00 o 'clock p.m. , at which Public Hearing all interested
persons will be heard.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 12th day of December , 1973.
