Resolution 73-14223 RESOLUTION NO. 73-14223
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, heretofore entered into an agreement for architectural
services of Lemuel Ramos for the construction of a community
center addition to the North Shore Community Center at an
agreed compensation, and
WHEREA$ , thereafter it was found and determined that
said proposed addition should include provisions for the
renovation of existing restroom facilities , at an estimated
increased cost of $28, 200 . 00, and
WHEREAS , said addition of the proposed construction
requires and entails additional compensation to the said
architect, and
WHEREAS , the said architect has agreed to perform the
architectural services for the sum of $2 ,696 .00, and
WHEREAS , an approved agreement has been prepared
between the City and said architect setting forth the additional
work, and the additional fee for architectural services,
which agreement has been approved as to form by the City
Attorney, and the entry into which has been recommended by the
City Manager.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
the said agreement in the name of and on behalf of the said City,
and the disbursing officers of the City are hereby authorized
and directed to disburse the monies required by the terms of
said agreement from funds of the City available for such purpose.
