Resolution 74-14269 RESOLUTION NO. 74-14269 is A RESOLUTION REQUESTING METROPOLITAN DADE COUNTY TO ESTABLISH AN ANIMAL CLINIC ON MIAMI BEACH. WHEREAS , the City of Miami Beach, together with other communities , is confronted with an immediate and imperative humanitarian problem arising out of a great over- population of stray cats and dogs , and WHEREAS, said situation calls for immediate and imperative humanitarian action; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that Metropolitan Dade County be and it is hereby earnestly urged to establish a mobile or permanent dog and cat neutering and veterinary clinic in an appropriate area in the City of Miami Beach with all reasonable speed and dispatch, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that copies of this resolution be transmitted to each member of the Commission of Metro- politan Dade County and to the County Manager, Ray Goode.
