A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXTENSION OF
LEASE FOR OFF STREET PARKING SPACES
WITH THE POSTAL SERVICE FROM MAY 1,
1974 TO APRIL 30, 1974.
WHEREAS , on November 1, 1972, the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, approved the leasing of
twenty-five (25) off street parking spaces in Zones 17X and
17A, at Collins Avenue and 13th Street, Miami Beach, Florida.;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has now received notifi-
cation from the Corps of Engineers , Mobile District, of the
desire of the Postal Service to renew the lease for one year
beginning May 1, 1974, and ending April 30, 1975, at a month-
ly rental of $270.83 ; and
WHEREAS , an appropriate lease has been prepared and
attached hereto and made a part hereof, the terms of which
are familiar to the City Council; and
WHEREAS , the City Council deems it to be in the
best interest of said City and its citizens that said
renewal lease be executed and delivered.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor
and the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to execute and deliver said lease.
