RESOLUTION NO. 74-14275
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
LEASE FOR PARKING SPACES AT 42ND STREET
MUNICIPAL PARKING GARAGE, WITH THE
UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE , FROM
MARCH 1 , 1974 , TO APRIL 30 , 1975.
WHEREAS , the United States Postal Service has
requested the City of Miami Beach, Florida, for a lease to
permit the use of forty (40) undesignated parking spaces on
the roof of the 42nd Street Municipal Parking Garage for the
40th Street Post Office Employees , beginning March 1 , 1974 ,
and ending April 30 , 1975 , at a monthly rental of $433. 33,
and
WHEREAS , an appropriate lease has been prepared, and
attached hereto and made a part hereof, the terms of which are
familiar to the City Council, and
WHEREAS , the City Council deems it to be in the
best interest of said City and its citizens that said lease
be executed and delivered.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and
the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed
to execute and deliver said lease, in the terms set forth
therein, for and on behalf of the City of Miami Beach, Florida.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 20th day of February, 1974 .
