A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
AGREEMENT WITH MIAMI DADE COMMUNITY
COLLEGE TO PROVIDE FOR THE BILLING OF
FEES AND TUITION FOR CITY EMPLOYEES
ATTENDING CLASSES AT THE SOUTHEAST
FLORIDA INSTITUTE OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE
WHEREAS , the City of Miami Beach and Miami Dade
Community College have agreed that the City will sponsor
enrollment in courses of instruction at the Southeast Florida
' Institute of Criminal Justice, and
WHEREAS , a proposed contract setting forth the terms
and provisions of such enrollment has been duly prepared and
approved as to form by the City Attorney and the City Manager
and the Police Chief have each recommended the entry into said
agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and
the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed
to execute the said agreement in the name of and on behalf of
said City, and the disbursing officers of the City are hereby
authorized and directed to disburse the monies required by
the terms of said agreement from funds of the City available
for such purpose.
