RESOLUTION NO. 74-14298
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING MAYOR ANDIT
C Y
CLERK TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER AN AGREEMENT
WITH DISTRICT NO. 22 , DADE COUNTY MENTAL
HEALTH BOARD, INC. , PROVIDING FOR JOINT
PARTICIPATION IN THE MIAMI BEACH MUNICIPAL
COURT ALCOHOLIC PROGRAM.
WHEREAS , Chapter 394 . 3, Florida Statutes , authorizes
and permits municipalities to enter into agreements providing
for joint participation with Dade County Mental Health Boards
for the procurement and disbursement of State Mental Health
Funds , all as set forth in the "Myers Act Implementation Plan",
and
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, deems it to be in the best interest of the
City of Miami Beach and its inhabitants , that such agreement
be entered into , the terms and provisionsof which agreement
are familiar to the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor
and the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to execute and deliver said agreement for and on
behalf of the City of Miami Beach.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of March 1974 .
