RESOLUTION NO. 74-14299
A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE BUILDING
MORATORIUM IMPOSED BY RESOLUTION NO.
73-14107 FOR AN ADDITIONAL PERIOD OF
NINETY DAYS .
WHEREAS , the Director of Planning and Zoning has
represented to the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, that the provisions of Resolution No. 73-14107,
imposing a building moratorium for that portion of the City
of Miami Beach described in said Resolution, should be
extended for an additional period of ninety (90) days , and
WHEREAS , due notice of such request by the Director
of Planning and Zoning was duly published, and a public
hearing was duly held by the City Council on said request on
February 20 , 1974 , and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, has thereupon duly found and determined that the
said request of the Director of Planning and Zoning be granted
for the purpose of enabling him to complete the preparation
of a comprehensive development plan for said area.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Building
moratorium imposed by the provisions of Resolution No. 73-14107
be and the same are hereby extended for an additional period
of ninety (90) days from and after the expiration of the
moratorium imposed by said Resolution No. 73-14107, for the
purpose hereinabove set forth.
