A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, EXPRESSING ITS
CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY OF THE LATE HOWARD
KATZEN, AS A CITIZEN OF MIAMI BEACH AND AS A
MEMBER OF THE ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach has , in the passing
away of Howard Katzen, lost a citizen of first magnitude, and
WHEREAS, the spirit of civic mindedness displayed by
said Howard Katzen has been a guiding star for his fellow members
of the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the City of Miami Beach,
upon which he served long and with honor and distinction, and
WHEREAS, in the passing of Howard Katzen the entire
City of Miami Beach suffers the loss of a citizen of inestimable
worth to the community and whose services were whole heartedly
dedicated to the promotion of the public welfare,
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that this testimonial of
deep respect and profound appreciation to Howard Katzen be spread
upon the minutes of the City Council and that a copy hereof be
transmitted by the City Clerk to his family with this expression
of profound sympathy of the entire City Council in this time of
sorrow and bereavement.
