RESOLUTION NO. 74-14364
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
AGREEMENT WITH EDWARD DURELL STONE &
ASSOCIATES , ARCHITECTS , TO PROVIDE
INTERIOR GRAPHICS DESIGN FOR THE MIAMI
BEACH CONVENTION CENTER.
WHEREAS, in conjunction with the interior furnishings
of the Convention Center, it is necessary to incorporate proper
graphics for the orientation of conventions, and
WHEREAS, to accomplish said interior graphics design
it is necessary to retain appropriate architectural services, and
WHEREAS, an appropriate agreement with Edward Durell
Stone & Associates has been prepared and has been approved as to
form by the City Attorney, providing for said architectural
services, the terms and conditions of which are set forth in the
said agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a
part hereof, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended to the City
Council that said Agreement be entered into, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
deems it to be in the best interest of the City and its residents
to enter into said Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
and deliver the said Agreement for and in the name of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida; and that the financial officers of the City
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to make the
disbursements called for in accordance with the provisions of
said Agreement.
