Resolution 74-14367 RESOLUTION NO . 74-14367
WHEREAS , the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, entered
into a Lease Agreement with the UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI , dated
March 30 , 1973 , and
WHEREAS , the UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI has requested an
extension of time for use of the Miami Beach Convention Hall
on Sunday, May 19 , 1974 , thereby using the building from 1: 00
p.m. through 10 : 00 p.m. instead of 1: 00 p.m. through 6 : 00 p.m.
as stated in said Lease Agreement of March 30 , 1973, and
WHEREAS , the requested new hours are open and
available and no loss to the CITY of rental is involved in
the additional hours requested, and
WHEREAS , all other terms and conditions of the
existing agreement shall remain the same, and
WHEREAS , a letter, signed by the Executive Director
of the Miami Beach Convention Center, dated April 25, 1974 ,
amending the existing Agreement between the UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI
and the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, has been mailed to and accepted
by the UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the letter
dated April 25 , 1974 , signed by the Executive Director of the
Miami Beach Convention Center, amending the existing Agreement
between the UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI and the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
be and the same is hereby accepted and approved in the name of
and on behalf of said CITY.
