A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 94-21387 WHICH ESTABLISHED THE
COMMITTEE ON THE HOMELESS BY CHANGING THE
MANNER OF APPOINTMENT OF ITS MEMBERS.
WHEREAS, on November 2, 1994 the Mayor and City Commission of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida adopted Resolution No. 94-
21387 which established the Committee on the Homeless consisting of
nine members to be appointed at large by the City Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Commission wish to change the
manner of appointment of the Committee's membership in order to
allow for appointments by individual Commissioners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that Paragraph 1 of
Resolution No. 94-21387 which currently reads as follows:
1. The City of Miami Beach Committee on the Homeless is
hereby created. The Committee shall consist of nine (9)
members, each to be appointed by the City Commission.
