RESOLUTION NO. 74-14394
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
AGREEMENT WITH JERRY'S CATERERS, INC. ,
TO PROVIDE FOR THE FURNISHING OF
PRISONERS ' MEALS AT THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH JAIL.
WHEREAS , after due notice, bids were opened for the
furnishing of prepared meals for the prisoners of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, for the one-year period commencing
July 1, 1974 ; and
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has determined that JERRY 'S CATERERS, INC. was the
successful bidder; and
WHEREAS , an Agreement has been prepared and has been
approved as to form by the City Attorney, between the City and
JERRY'S CATERERS , INC. , the terms of which the City Council is
familiar; and
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
deems it to be in the best interest of the City and its residents
to enter into said Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
and deliver the said Agreement for and in the name of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida; and that the financial officers of the City
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to make the dis-
bursements called for in accordance with the provisions of said
Agreement.
