A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF
MAJORITY INTEREST IN STOCK OF MALL
TRANSPORT , INC. TO MR. DOUGLAS SEGAL.
WHEREAS , on September 19 , 1973, the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, passed and adopted its
Resolution No. 73-14128 , which granted to Mall Transport, Inc.
the right to use that portion of Lincoln Road known as the
Lincoln Road Mall, during a period of eight (8) years , for the
purpose of establishing , operating and maintaining a vehicular
transportation system for transporting passengers for compen-
sation, in conformity with and subject to all the provisions ,
terms and conditions as set forth in said Resolution No.
73-14128, and
WHEREAS , Section 16 of said Resolution No. 73-14128
provides for the conditions upon sale, assignment or transfer
of said franchise, and
WHEREAS , by letter dated May 31, 1974 , from Mr.
Stanley Segal, Vice President and Treasurer of said Mall Trans-
port, Inc. , the City of Miami Beach was advised in writing that
an arrangement had been made to transfer sixty percent (60%) of
the outstanding shares of Mall Transport, Inc. to Mr. Douglas
Segal who has been active as managing operator of the trams
since December 1973;
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the transfer
of sixty percent (60%) interest in stock, a majority thereof,
of Mall Transport, Inc. to Mr. Douglas Segal be and the same
is hereby authorized and approved by said City Council in
accordance with the provisions of Section 16 of said Resolution
No. 73-14128 of the City of Miami Beach as adopted on
September 19 , 1973 .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 19th day o June, 1974 .
