RESOLUTION NO. 74-14406
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AND
THE SCHOOL BOARD OF DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
FOR PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF AIR
CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT IN CAFETERIA ROOM
FACILITIES OF THE BISCAYNE ELEMENTARY AND
IDA M. FISHER JR. HIGH SCHOOLS .
WHEREAS , in connection with the purchase and installa-
tion of air conditioning equipment in the cafeteria room
facilities in the Biscayne Elementary School and the Ida M.
Fisher Junior High School, an appropriate agreement between the
City of Miami Beach and the School Board of Dade County, Florida,
has been prepared and has been approved as to form by the City
Attorney, the terms and conditions of which are set forth in
said agreement, and
WHEREAS , an estimated cost has been determined to be
Ninety-Five Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($95 , 000 . 00) for the
purchase and installation of appropriate air conditioning
equipment for said cafeteria room facilities , and
WHEREAS , the City Manager has recommended to the City
Council that said agreement be entered into, and
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
deems it to be in the best interest of the City and its
residents to enter into said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH , FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
and deliver said agreement for and in the name of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, and that the financial officers of the City
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to make the
disbursements called for in accordance with the provisions of
said agreement.
