A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF MIAMI BEACH
AND ROCCO W. PACE, ARCHITECT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF BRANCH LIBRARY TO BE
LOCATED AT 7501 COLLINS AVENUE, AND FOR
AN ADDITION TO THE BAYSHORE GOLF COURSE
CLUB HOUSE .
WHEREAS , in connection with the construction of a
branch library to be located at 7501 Collins Avenue, Miami
Beach, Florida, and an addition to the Bayshore Golf Course
Club House, it is necessary to retain appropriate architectural
services, and
WHEREAS, an appropriate agreement with ROCCO W. PACE,
Architect, has been prepared, and has been approved as to form
by the City Attorney, providing for the said architectural
services, all as set forth in the proposed agreement, for a
maximum construction cost totaling $255, 000. 00 payable as set
forth in said agreement, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended to the City
Council that said agreement be entered into, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
deems it to be in the best interest of the City and its residents
to enter into said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
and deliver said agreement for and in the name of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, and that the financial officers of the City
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to make the
disbursements called for in accordance with the provisions of
said agreement.
