A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXTENSION
AGREEMENT WITH MIAMI-DADE COMMUNITY
COLLEGE WHEREBY CITY FURNISHES POLICE
PERSONNEL AS INSTRUCTORS .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the existing agreement between Miami-
Dade Community College and the City of Miami Beach, whereby the
City of Miami Beach furnishes police personnel to serve as
instructors to Miami-Dade Community College for the operation
of its Southeast Florida Institute of Criminal Justice, be
amended by extending said agreement from its present expiration
date, June 30 , 1974 , for an additional period of one year
thereafter, so that the same will expire on June 30 , 1975; the
terms of said Agreement otherwise to remain the same; and the
Mayor and the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and
directed to execute and deliver the said proposed Extension
Agreement, the terms of which are familiar to the City Council.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 10th day of July , 1974.
