RESOLUTION NO. 74-14421
WHEREAS , the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, entered
into a Lease Agreement with FLORISTS TRANSWORLD DELIVERY
ASSOCIATION, dated January 10 , 1974, for a Floral Display
Competition Show, and •
WHEREAS , the FLORISTS TRANSWORLD DELIVERY ASSOCIATION
will use the date of August 4 , 1974 , in addition to August 5,
1974 , as originally stipulated for in the Miami Beach Con-
vention Hall, and
WHEREAS , the requested new date is open and available
and no loss to the CITY of rental is involved in the additional
date requested, and
WHEREAS , all other terms and conditions of the existing
Agreement shall remain the same except that payments- shall read
as follows :
"One Thousand and no/100 ($1, 000. 00)
Dollars upon signing of this lease
amendment, receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged; balance due payable by
10 : 00 p.m. , August 5, 1974",
and
WHEREAS , a letter signed by the Executive Director of
the Miami Beach Convention Center, dated June 3, 1974, amending
the existing Agreement between the FLORISTS TRANSWORLD DELIVERY
ASSOCIATION and the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, has been mailed to and

accepted by the FLORISTS TRANSWORLD DELIVERY ASSOCIATION.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the letter dated
June 3, 1974 , signed by the Executive Director of the Miami Beach
Convention Center, amending the existing Agreement between the
FLORISTS TRANSWORLD DELIVERY ASSOCIATION and the CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, be and the same is hereby accepted and approved in the
name of and on behalf of said CITY.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day of July , 1974 .
