RESOLUTION NO. 74-14425
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
LEASE FOR PARKING SPACES AT CARLYLE AVENUE
AND 72ND STREET , WITH THE UNITED STATES
POSTAL SERVICE , FROM AUGUST 1, 1974 , TO
APRIL 30 , 1975.
WHEREAS , the United States Postal Service has
requested the City of Miami Beach, Florida, for a lease to
permit the use of thirteen (13) metered parking spaces for use
by the Normandy Branch Post Office employees in Zone 22, at
Carlyle Avenue and 72nd Street, for nine (9) months beginning
August 1, 1974 , and ending April 30 , 1975 , at a monthly
rental of One Hundred Forty and 79/100 Dollars ($140. 79) ; and
WHEREAS, an appropriate lease has been prepared, and
attached hereto and made a part hereof, the terms of which are
familiar to the City Council, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best
interest of said City and its citizens that said lease be
executed and delivered.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and
the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed
to execute and deliver said lease, in the terms set forth
therein, for and on behalf of the City of Miami Beach, Florida.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day of July , 1974 .
