Resolution 74-14428 RESOLUTION NO. 74-14428
WHEREAS , the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, entered
into a Lease Amendment dated April 3, 1974 , which became a part
of the existing contract with FLORIDA TEAM TENNIS, INC. , dated
March 11 , 1974 , and
WHEREAS , FLORIDA TEAM TENNIS , INC. , desires to release
the dates of August 9 and 10, 1974 , in the Miami Beach Con-
vention Hall from its contract, and
WHEREAS , all other terms and conditions of the existing
agreements shall remain the same except that payments shall be
reduced from Twenty-One Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($21, 000. 00)
to Nineteen Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($19 , 000. 00) ; however,
the sum of One Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($1,000. 00) being
held as escrow money for the August 10 , 1974 game shall now be
applied to the July 24 , 1974 game, and
WHEREAS , a letter, signed by the Manager of the
Auditorium and Convention Hall, dated July 8, 1974 , amending
the amended existing agreement between CITY OF MIAMI BEACH and
FLORIDA TEAM TENNIS, INC. has been mailed to and accepted by
FLORIDA TEAM TENNIS , INC. ;
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the letter
dated July 8, 1974 , signed by the Manager of the Auditorium and
Convention Hall, amending the amended existing agreement between
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH and FLORIDA TEAM TENNIS , INC. , be and the
same is hereby accepted and approved in the name of and on behalf
of said CITY.
