WHITEWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH.
FLORIDA :
That the construction of the following described Improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter : Both sides of Calais Dr. from Bay Dr. to Trouville
Esplanade; Marseille Dr. from Verdun Dr. to Trouville Esplanade
and from Rue Notre Dame to Bay Dr; Biarritz Dr. from Normandy
Waterway to Normandy Dr. and from 71st St. to Rue Granville and
from Rue Versailles to Brest Esplanade; Verdun Dr. from Calais
Dr. to Normandy Dr; Bay Dr. from Normandy Waterway to Normandy
Dr. and from 71st St. to Rue Granville and from Rue Versailles to
71st St. and from 71st St. to Normandy Waterway; Rue Granville from
Biarritz Dr. to Normandy Waterway; Rue Notre Dame from 71st St. to
Normandy Waterway; Rue Versailles from Biscayne Bay to 71st St.
and from Normandy Dr. to Marseilles Dr. ; Rue Vendome from Brest
Esplanade to 71st St. ; Street in Block 10 from 71st St. to
Normandy Drive. To be improved with a Whiteway Lighting System
of ornamental posts and lamps at approximately 154 feet apart
in each side together with necessary transformers ; other appurten-
ances and with underground connections for lighting. As said
roads are shown on Plat recorded in Plat Book 25, Page 60; Plat
Book 40, Page 60, Plat Book 34, Page 80; Plat Book 41, Page 75;
Plat Book 40, Page 33 of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, plans and Specifications of said Improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and
specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of
notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during
conttruction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other
expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and
work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the
cost of such Improvement is hereby designated as District WW-163
and is described as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting the above described
streets .
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assess-
ments and bonds as Whiteway Improvement WW-163, and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof
shall be designated as District WW-163.
