WHITEWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA :
That the construction of the following described Improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter : WW-164, Both sides of Calais Drive from Trouville
Esplanade to Rue Bordeaux; Marseille Drive from Trouville Espla-
nade to Rue Notre Dame; Biarritz Drive from Rue Granville to Rue
Versailles ; Bay Drive from Rue Granville to Rue Versailles ; Rue
Granville from Biarritz Drive to Biscayne Bay; Trouville
Esplanade from Biscayne Bay to Normandy Waterway; Rue Bordeaux
from Biscayne Bay to Calais Drive; Rue Notre Dame from Biscayne
Bay to 71st Street. To be improved with Whiteway Lighting System
of ornamental posts and lamps at approximately 154 feet apart
on each side together with necessary transformers, other appurten-
ances and with underground connections for lighting. As said roads
are shown on Plat Book 25, Page 60; Plat Book 40, Page 60; Plat
Book 25, Page 56; Plat Book 34, Page 80; Plat Book 41, Page 75 of
the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, plans and Specifications of said Improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and
specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of
notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during
construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other
expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and
work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost
of such Improvement is hereby designated as District WW-164 and
is described as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting above-described streets .
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assess-
ments and bonds as Whiteway Improvement WW-164, and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof
shall be designated as District WW-164.
