Resolution 74-14450 RESOLUTION NO. 74-14450
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, the Certificate of the Clerk
and Inspectors who conducted the Primary Election held on
August 6, 1974, for the purpose of electing a Regular Employee
from Group 2 of the City Employees to serve on the Personnel
Board, pursuant to the provisions of the Civil Service Act, and
WHEREAS, the said City Council has canvassed said returns
and certificate,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that it hereby adopts the said
Certificate as the result of said Primary Election, and does
hereby declare the Regular Employee from Group 2 elected to the
Personnel Board to represent City Employees in Group 2 to be
as follows:
GROUP 2:
Mr. James D. Ahearn (Elected by 91 votes out of
162 votes cast, being a
clear majority at the
Primary Election.)
Term expires July 31 , 1977.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of August, 1974.
