RESOLUTION NO. 74-14456
A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE BUILDING
MORATORIUM IMPOSED BY RESOLUTION NO.
73-14107 , AND EXTENDED BY RESOLUTION
NOS . 74-14299 AND 74-14374 , FOR AN
ADDITIONAL PERIOD OF ONE HUNDRED
TWENTY (12 0) DAYS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, passed and adopted its Resolution No. 73-14107, on
September 5, 1973, wherein a building moratorium was imposed on
that portion of the City of Miami Beach as set forth in said
Resolution No. 73-14107, and
WHEREAS , on March 6 , 1974 , the City Council passed and
adopted its Resolution No . 74-14299 , which extended the provisions
of the building moratorium imposed by Resolution No. 73-14107 for
an additional period of ninety (90) days , and
WHEREAS , on May 15, 1974 , the City Council passed and
adopted its Resolution No. 74-14374 , which extended the provisions
of said building moratorium imposed by Resolution No. 73-14107 and
extended by Resolution No. 74-14299 , for an additional period
of ninety (90) days, with the express exception provided that
the 200 unit low-rent housing project and any and all governmental
agency projects be excepted from the provisions and operation
of this resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the building moratorium
imposed by the provisions of Resolution No. 73-14107 , and extended
for an additional period of ninety (90) days each by the
provisions of Resolution Nos . 74-14299 and 74-14374 , be and the
same is hereby extended for an additional period of one hundred
twenty (120) days from and after the expiration of the moratorium
imposed by said Resolution No. 74-14374 , with the continuing
exception that the 200 unit low-rent housing project and any and
all governmental agency projects be and the same are hereby
expressly excepted from the provisions and operation of this
resolution.
