At their October 8, 2002 meeting, the NITE requested that the City Commission consider granting an extension of hours for nightclubs to operate during the upcoming White Party Weekend taking place over the Thanksgiving Day weekend (Friday, Nov. 29 - Saturday, Nov. 30). Although many events will take place in the City of Miami, there are several smaller private events being held in several nightclubs on Miami Beach.
