RESOLUTION NO. 74-14476A
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING, RATIFYING AND CON-
FIRMING LEGAL ADVERTISEMENTS NOTIFYING
THE PUBLIC OF PROPOSED INCREASES IN MILLAGE
FOR 1974 AD VALOREM TAXES.
WHEREAS, House Bill No. 4005 of the acts of the 1974
Legislature requires the publication of prescribed advertise-
ments in the event of a possibility of an increase in the
millage for ad valorem taxes over the rate prescribed by the
County Tax Assessor for the production of an equivalent amount
of taxes for the preceding year; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Clerk have caused
to be placed appropriate and required advertisements to be
published, calling for the required public hearings .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the publication of
the said legal advertisements calling the required public
hearings be and the same are hereby authorized, approved,
ratified and confirmed.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 4th day of eptember, 1974.
