RESOLUTION NO. 74-14512-A
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
CONTRACT WITH SYSTEMS FOR SECURITY, INC. ,
FOR INSTALLATION OF A CENTRAL STATION
PROTECTIVE SIGNALING SYSTEM IN THE BASS
MUSEUM FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE (5) YEARS
BEGINNING NOVEMBER 3, 1974 .
WHEREAS , pursuant to competitive bids for the instal-
lation
of a Central Station Protective Signaling System in the
Bass Museum at 2100 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida, SYSTEMS
FOR. SECURITY, INC. was the successful bidder; and
WHEREAS , bids were submitted to the City Council and
it was found and determined that the bid of SYSTEMS FOR SECURITY,
INC. was the lowest and best bid; and
WHEREAS , an appropriate contract has been prepared
setting forth the terms and conditions hereof, and has been approved
by the City Attorney, to be entered into by and between the CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH and SYSTEMS FOR SECURITY, INC. , for the installation
of a Central Station Protective Signaling System in the Bass
Museum at 2100 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida, for a
period of five (5) years beginning November 3, 1974 , at a yearly
rate of One Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty-eight and no/100 Dollars
($1, 968. 00) as Yearly Service Charge, plus installation charges
in advance in the amount of One Thousand Seven Hundred Ten and
no/100 Dollars ($1 , 710 .00) ; and
WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has found and determined that it is in the best interest
of the City to enter into said contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
and deliver said Contract for and in the name of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, and that the financial officers of the City
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to make the
disbursements called for in accordance with the provisions of
said Contract.
