A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AMENDMENT WITH I . B.S. FLEA MARKETS, INC. FOR
THE USE OF THE NORTH HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH
CONVENTION CENTER ON MARCH 28 - APRIL 5, 1982.
WHEREAS, the CITY OF MIAMI BEACH entered into a lease
agreement with
I .B.S. FLEA MARKETS, I NC. (TRADE 61IOW DIVISION)
hereinafter referred to as LESSEE, said agreement having been
approved by the City Commission on
MARCH 4, 1981 (ORIGINAL CONTRACT)
MAY 6, 1981 (AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT DATED 4/9/81 )
for use of certain premises and facilities of the City of Miami
Beach, to wit:
NORTH HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
for the event known as:
WHOLESALE MERCHANDISE SHOW (CLOSED TO PUBLIC)
on
• MARCH 28 - APRIL 5, 1982
and
WHEREAS, said LESSEE has requested an amendment to said
agreement as set forth in Commission Memorandum No. 9174 , a copy
of which is included in the agenda for the meeting at which this
Resolution was adopted, and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions of :the existing
agreement shall remain the same, and
WHEREAS, an appropriate Amendment to Agreement, signed
by the said LESSEE and approved as to form and legal sufficiency
by the City Attorney, is attached hereto and made a part hereof,
the provisions of which are familiar to the City Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Amendment to the exist-
ing lease agreement as set forth in said Commission Memorandum be
and the same is hereby accepted and approved, and the Mayor and
City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to ex-
ecute said Amendment to Agreement in the name of and on behalf of
the CITY.

NEW DATES: MARCH 28-APRIL 5, 1982
LEASE Lease agreement approved by Commission on March 4, 1981.
APPROVED: Lease amendment approved by Commission on May 6, 1981.
AMENDMENT Lessee is changing name to I. B. S. Flea Markets, Inc.
PURPOSE: the event to World's Largest Indoor Flea Market and the
dates to March 28-April 5, 1982.
RATE: 40 per square foot sold with a minimum guarantee of $15,000.00.
$3,000.00 payable on signing of contract, receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged; $12,000.00 payable on or before
January 28, 1982; balance, if any, payable by 5:00 p.m. ,
April 11, 1982.
Additional charges:
Box Office - if used: $200 flat (maximum of 10 days)
which includes one person for supervisory purposes only.
(Supervisor does not sell tickets. Lessee hires ticket
sellers for sale of tickets.)
