A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, REQUESTING EXEMPTION
FROM TAXES ON THE PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, KNOWN AS TRACT "B" OF PARKVIEW
ISLAND, MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, FROM THE DATE OF
ACQUISITION, May 20 , 1981, PURSUANT TO FLORIDA
STATUTES, SECTION 196 . 199
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has acquired
for public purposes, the following described property, in accordance
with Chapter 73 of the Florida Statutes, on May 20 , 1981:
TRACT B, PARKVIEW POINT, according to the Plat
thereof as recorded in Plat Book 77 , at Page 12 ,
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City of Miami Beach
herewith formally request exemption from taxes on the property
herein set forth, from the date of acquisition thereof, pursuant to
Florida Statutes, Section 196 . 199 ;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the certified copies of this
Resolution be transmitted forthwith to the County Manager of Dade
County, Florida, and to the various county tax officials.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of September , 1981.
