A RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON RECOMMENDATION
OF THE PLANNING BOARD FOR A CHANGE OF ZONING FOR THAT
AREA COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE CIVIC AND CONVENTION CENTER
FROM MU MUNICIPAL USE DISTRICT TO CCC CONVENTION CENTER
DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Planning Board of the City of Miami Beach,
at a public hearing held on August 27, 1981, approved a change of zoning
for the area delineated on the attached map from MU Municipal Use District
to the CCC Convention Center District; and
WHEREAS, said action of the Planning Board has been duly
transmitted to the City Commission pursuant to Section 16 of Zoning
Ordinance No. 1891.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a Public Hearing for consideration
of the aforementioned proposed Change of Zoning is hereby called to
be held before the City Commission in its Chambers on the Third Floor
of City Hall, 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida beginning
at 3:30 p.m. on the 21st day of October , 1981, and the City Clerk
is hereby authorized and directed to publish in a newspaper of general
circulation in the City of Miami Beach, at which time and place all
interested parties will be heard.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of September, 1981.
